Mount CC to be featured on Sky TV during the England v New Zealand Test match at Lordís
Watch out for Central League Mount CC on Sky Television this coming weekend.
The Batley club are to be featured on Sunday, during the lunch break of the England v New Zealand Test match at Lordís.
Itís the second time Mount have been featured by the satellite company, having been shown on the Club Life section of Cricket AM seven years ago.
Sky returned to see how the club were doing and, to be fair, Mount responded in style by defeating Penistone in the Premier Division.
Mount won the toss, batted and put up 226-7, with opener Mohammed Makda making 45.
Penistone never looked like chasing the target and were scrapping for a point, but Anees Rawat picked up three for 26 to leave the visitors 176 all out.
Mount have registered around 80 children between the ages of five and 11 for the first training sessions at their home ground.
The children were filmed by Sky Sports, who were stunned to see so many youngsters at the club and how well the session was run.

Mount followed up by going through to the second round of the CopyMark Allsop Cup with a win over Horbury Bridge.
Horbury Bridge were bowled out for 128 with Yusuf Kayat taking three for 10.
Mount got home on 132-5 with Ismail Mayet finishing on 56 not out. Mount were struggling at one point as they were 54-5 but Mayet stayed focused.
Mount B could not match that success as they suffered a two-wicket defeat at Silkstone in the CopyMark Tinker Cup.
